Since early times hats have been popular all around the world. It’s impossible to say when the first animal fur was pulled off from it to be used as head protection. The first hat was discovered in Thebes, Greece, and was worn by a man. This hat was made off straws, and the rims were round. The next hat was called Pileus which was actually a cap and identified sequentially as “a hat of freedom” given to the slaves from Greece or Rome when they became free people.
